Creating a PDF from Google Docs, Google Slides, Microsoft Word or Powerpoint |
TeacherMade lets you very easily add auto-graded interactivity to any document. You can upload Google Docs and Google Slides directly from Google Drive using the convenient "Pick from Drive" button when creating an Activity:
For Microsoft Word or Powerpoint, though, you'll have to first create a PDF from your document. Just follow these instructions:
- Open your Word document.
- Click the "File" menu.
- Choose "Save As"
- Click the down arrow next to the file type:
- Choose "PDF (*.pdf)" from the available file types. Note that Powerpoint will show you different file types and that "PDF" is close to the top of the list.
- Choose the location on your local computer to store your document.
Make It Auto-Graded
Once you've saved your PDF file to a location on your local computer, you'll just select that file when creating a new activity in TeacherMade. This article explains how! You'll add auto-graded interactions right on top of the materials in the PDF. It only takes minutes and will save you hours and hours of time!
