How Do I Remove Students?

At this time, students cannot be permanently deleted from your Classwork.com account. Any student who has started or submitted an assignment will remain in your student records so that their work, grades, and feedback are preserved.

This ensures that historical assignment data remains accurate and available for review.

Archive Students Instead

If you want to remove students from your active view, you can archive them. Archiving students removes them from your active student list while keeping all of their submissions, grades, and feedback safely stored.

You can restore archived students at any time if you need to view their past work again.

Focus on Current Students

If you are trying to focus on current students rather than remove old records, use the Date Range filter on the Classes page. This lets you narrow your view to assignments and student activity within a specific time period, which can make it easier to focus on your current roster while keeping past records intact.
