How Do I Split a Slide Into Multiple Slides? |
TeacherMade excels at converting your paper-based materials to fully online digital activities. Once they're digital, you may find you want to split them up to work better on the computer screen. Use the Slide Splitter to split one slide into multiple slides.
Activate the Slide Splitter by selecting "Split Slide Into Parts" from the "Slides" menu or by selecting this icon in the editor toolbar:
This toolbar will appear:
The Slide Splitter lets you place lines on the slide that indicate where you'd like to slice it into multiple slides. Just click to place the line where you'd like to split the slide. Click and drag the line to position it exactly where you'd like.
In this example, we've placed three lines to split this slide into 4 parts (we'll discard the last slide as a way of trimming off the excess space). A crosshatch pattern appears to indicate where you cannot place a line. Since the minimum slide height is 100 pixels, the top margin of the example is off-limits. Existing TeacherMade questions will also be marked as off-limits.
To delete one of the lines, click it, then click the trashcan icon.
Once you've placed all the lines to indicate where you'd like to split the slide, click the "Split" button to begin.
You'll see a popup like this.
Confirm your choice by clicking the "Go" button, and your slide will be split into multiple slides.
As always with TeacherMade, if you don't like the outcome, just click the "Undo" button on the toolbar or type Ctrl-Z and the operation will be undone.
