Located in the top left panel of the Assignment Detail screen, the 3-dot menu opens the Assignment Actions Menu. This menu gives you access to key assignment-level tools and settings:

Edit Assignment

Opens the activity in the editor. This functions the same as the pencil icon. If the activity has already been assigned, it will open in Answer Key Mode.

Lock Assignment

Toggles the lock status of the assignment. This is the same function as the lock setting shown under the title field below.

Rescore Assignment

Used primarily for LMS-connected assignments (Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology). If student scores didn’t sync properly to your LMS, use this to manually push updated scores.

Edit Student Names

Opens the display name editor. You can set a custom Display Name for students, which is shown everywhere in Classwork.com.

Note: This does not change the student’s login information (name, ID, or email). It’s only visible to you as the teacher.

Print Activity

Opens a printer-friendly version of the activity for paper distribution.

Print Answer Key

Generates a printable version of the answer key for the assignment.

Archive Assignment

Moves the assignment into your Archived list. This is helpful for decluttering your active assignments view.
