Can I Merge Two Assignments or Turn Two Activities Into One? |
Combine Two Activities
You can combine two Activities in Classwork, but there is no one-click merge feature. Instead, you can copy Slides from one Activity into another.
This method works well for combining units, building review packets, or bringing together materials from different sources.
How to Copy Slides Between Activities
Since Slides can only be copied one at a time, the easiest workflow is to open both Activities in separate browser tabs.
Step 1: Open Both Activities
- Open Activity A and click Edit.
- Open Activity B in a second tab and click Edit.
Step 2: Copy a Slide
- In Activity A, select the Slide in the filmstrip.
- Press Ctrl+C (Windows/Chromebook) or Cmd+C (Mac), or use Edit → Copy.
Step 3: Paste the Slide
- Switch to Activity B.
- Select where the Slide should appear in the filmstrip.
- Press Ctrl+V (Windows/Chromebook) or Cmd+V (Mac), or use Edit → Paste.
Repeat for each Slide you want to move.
Important Notes
- Slides must be copied one at a time.
- You can rearrange Slides after pasting by dragging them in the filmstrip.
