No. Classwork.com does not sync, import, or automatically pull student rosters from Canvas. Canvas does not send class lists to Classwork.com, and there is no option to transfer your Canvas roster into Classwork.

How Students Appear in Classwork.com

You do not need to add students manually when you're using Canvas Assignments. When you post an Assignment to Canvas and a student opens it, Canvas sends the student’s information to Classwork.com. This automatically creates that student’s Submission on the Assignment Detail screen.

This allows you to:

• See which students opened the Assignment

• View work in progress

• Review and autograde Submissions

• Track completion and scoring

No roster sync is required.

What You Can’t Do

• You cannot sync your Canvas roster into Classwork.com

• You cannot import a class list from Canvas

• You cannot pre-load Canvas students into Classwork.com

Optional: Using the Classes Page in Classwork.com

If you prefer to set up your classes manually inside Classwork.com, you can create a class on the Classes page and add students yourself. When you assign an Activity to one of these classes, the students you added will appear automatically.

This is an optional workflow and is not connected to Canvas. These students only appear because you added them manually, not because Canvas sent roster data.
